It is such an easy task to bring green energy into our surrounding. When we use trailers and spillers instead of stiff thick stem plants, we can enjoy the way that they are "hanging around". Isn't it the suitable atmosphere we need in our own place, be lay back and be casual. Here we have not cascading but tough and spiky cacti. Our friends put them in the yard on a thick plank of discarded wood from construction site. They are truly ECO plants - the honorable cacti. Especially essential for

For all the flea marker goers you must have seen old sewing machine for sale. Better than that, there might be one in your parent's store house. This is such a multi purpose firm base, easily convert material. Whether we desire wood or glass top, with or without the rusty look, the result is always pleasing.

Whether it is a artificially distressed wood flooring or natural worn-out whitish wood finish. We can use it as backdrop to accomodate other shabby chic decor. Not to mention, it is always preferable to add less chemical to our floor while we can let time work on the paint.

Chalk paints can give our furniture a matte, soft vintage look, but it can be more expensive than other water base paints. We can find many tutorials of diy chalk paint online. I believe that pallet wood and cable spools are not only for patio, here the pallet adds a cool mode to this lively living room. It is not very easy to find a pallet in well preserved state. Thorough sanding might be essential. But I found it very rewarding to sand and expose the clean surface of the pallet. Varnish can also be optional as long as it stays indoor.
